On Wednesday, my team and I paid a courtesy visit to the Department of Rehabilitation and Persons with Disabilities, which operates under the Ministry of Women Affairs.

During the visit, I conducted a routine check on the Ministry’s properties within the department and assured everyone of the government’s continued support. We are committed to ensuring that the facilities are rehabilitated to a high standard and that all necessary resources for security and convenience are provided.

These actions are part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to improve the living standards of individuals in rehabilitation and those with disabilities. We are determined to explore and implement all necessary measures to enhance their quality of life.

I also assured the management staff that, under the leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the state government has made significant provisions for the rehabilitation and empowerment of persons with disabilities. We remain dedicated to their well-being and inclusion in society.
